some lovely smell-goods for this time of the season. i really love emeraude.. i've been collecting vintage bottles (through random antique malls) & its been a joy to find various iterations & bottles in all shapes & sizes throughout the years. this fragrance has been around since the 1920s (original bottles were gorgeous). i was able to snag a smaller bottle in its original holiday packaging from the 1980s. unfortunately it's discontinued, but i really recommend it for those that are willing to hunt for it (get the vintage only please!) & want a daring little green fragrance. i just love that citrus-y oriental woody note. it's not for everyone, but it really settles on the skin for a lovely resinous vanilla & incense finish. i also found some campy ads from the 1970s (unfortunately i couldn't find my scans of it).
