5 minute sketches

5 minute sketch each using old oil pastels that i found at the bottom of a bin at a garage sale years ago. i've had them sitting in a box, untouched for probably over 5 years, just collecting dust. i finally opened them, they seemed like deadstock. i just wanted to imagine flushed cheeks & unkempt hair. trying to encourage mistakes, & trigger muscle memory of the days where i would just doodle compulsively in middle school wishing time would go by faster. eyes always exaggerated & figurative, similar to the dollies i used to play with as a little child. 

i completely forgot about these sketches. it wasn't until i was organizing my scanned files, that i remembered. i don't even know where they are physically. i probably threw them away.
